Boarding

Bring your dog for the ultimate vacation!

Your dog’s boarding stay with us includes a full day of doggy daycare at no additional cost, comfy doggie condos with beds, blankets, access to water at all times and personalized meals and feeding.

All dogs who are boarding will receive daycare and be able to participate in group play to help ensure they are nice and tired for overnight. This allows the dogs to work up a good appetite, as well as have fun during the day in a stress-free environment while they are away from home.

Your dog’s safety and happiness is our ultimate objective. We will do whatever is necessary to help them feel as comfortable as possible when they are away from home!

When Can I Bring My Puppy?

Socialization is crucial to a puppy’s development! We recommended puppies joining the group no sooner than 12 weeks of age but after they have received a rabies vaccination.

Does My Dog Have to Be Fixed to Come to Karen's K9 Care?

Yes, we ask that all dogs are spayed or neutered. Puppies may join the group prior to doing so, but by 6-8 months of age, they must be fixed.

Does My Dog Need to Have a Bordetella Vaccine?

Yes. We require all dogs to have the Bordetella vaccine. We do our very best to keep a sanitary environment, but your dog may still come in contact with kennel cough at sometime. Having the Bordetella vaccine is just another layer of protection, for your dog and others, to help prevent the spread and contraction of this mild illness.

What Vaccines are Required to Attend?

Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Canine Influenza

“We have loved Karen’s K9 Care since starting one of our dogs in daycare in 2018. We’ve since moved twice and live too far for daycare but drive an hour each way to board our 2 dogs. Meg, Steve, Eric, and the rest of the staff are amazing and treat our dogs like their own. The flexibility they offer is also unmatched with always accommodating a last minute drop off, adding an extra day, and being on standby when we were awaiting the arrival of our two human babies. Highly recommend trusting them with your pups!”
